The Kirikake Divide takes everything that made the original Kirikake's tail action so distinctive and pushes it even further. By cutting at the marked division lines, you can choose from four lengths — 8.5", 7.5", 4.7", and 3.8" — giving you the flexibility to match your bait to the conditions and cover you're fishing.
At the full 8.5" length, the Kirikake tails on both ends work with a subtle, controlled action that keeps the bait in the strike zone longer. Rigged wacky on a jig head, drop shot, or free rig, the whole body rolls and pulses with a seductive, fluid motion — but it really shines on a weightless wacky rig when bass are keyed in on the surface or when you're fishing moving water.
Cut to 7.5" or 4.7" and you've got a slimmer, softer take on the original Kirikake — a straight worm that handles anything you throw at it, from a jig head to a Neko rig to a drop shot, with the kind of versatility that makes it a reliable go-to in any situation.
At 3.8", the bait is dialed in for finesse presentations, but it also has the mass to move fast on heavier rigs when you want to trigger a reaction bite.
There's also a practical side to the Divide's design. Once the hook contact area wears out on the full-length bait, cut it at the division line and you've got two fresh worms ready to fish — no waste, no digging through your bag for a new pack. You use every inch of it.
More lengths, more strategies, less wasted plastic. The Kirikake Divide is a smarter way to fish the Kirikake.
MATERIAL マテリアル
MATERIAL マテリアル
Crafted from a softer plastic blend than the original Kirikake, this bait is designed to deliver a more supple, full-body undulating action. We've achieved this enhanced flexibility without sacrificing its excellent hook-holding durability. Formulated with a 10% salt content.
BODY FORM ボディフォルム
BODY FORM ボディフォルム
Shaped around a "length over bulk" concept, the slim profile avoids putting unnecessary pressure on wary fish, relying on its overall length to maintain a natural yet noticeable presence in the water. Furthermore, this carefully dialed-in thinness allows the bait to completely transform when cut down, unlocking an even wider, more supple undulating action.
Integrated smooth bands along the body serve as clear visual guides, ensuring quick and precise cuts every time.
Despite its slim profile, the bait features a built-in hook point guard, allowing you to rig offset hooks effortlessly and fish snag-free with total confidence.
The signature Kirikake tail features a molded factory lock that keeps the split sections fused together. This simple yet effective design gives you the option to fish it straight out of the package as a subtle pintail.
CUT LENGTH カットレングス
CUT LENGTH カットレングス
By utilizing the designated cut points, you can easily customize the bait to four distinct lengths—8.5", 7.5", 4.7", and 3.8"—giving you the ultimate versatility to adapt to any fishing situation.
This is the original configuration featuring the signature Kirikake tail on both ends. It is absolutely deadly when wacky rigged—whether you are fishing it weightless, on a jig head, drop shot, or free rig. On the fall, the twin tails generate a subtle, fluttering micro-vibration, while shaking the bait unleashes a wide, seductive undulating action across the entire body to trigger aggressive bites.
Created by snipping off just one of the tails, this configuration transforms the bait into a slender, straight long worm. It excels in shaking-centric presentations where you want to keep the bait dancing in the strike zone with minimal forward movement. It is highly effective when paired with a jig head, drop shot, free rig, or Neko rig.
Created by cutting the bait exactly at the smooth band (which yields both the 4.7" and 3.8" sections), this configuration provides the ultimate, all-purpose length for light-line straight worms. It easily adapts to virtually any finesse rig in your tackle box. Functioning as a slimmer and softer counterpart to the original Kirikake, it truly shines in tough, highly pressured situations that demand a highly delicate and precise approach.
Created by cutting at the smooth band (yielding two 3.8" pieces), this is the smallest configuration in the lineup. It is specifically dialed in for delicate finesse presentations to coax bites from lock-jawed fish in highly pressured conditions. However, despite its small profile, it remains highly effective when paired with a heavier drop shot weight to probe tightly around cover, or when fished with fast, erratic movements to trigger aggressive reaction strikes.
